I drove my dad by Curtis Creek in Quincy, and I actually went in and kind of toured the facility. It's an amazing place, and they're very, very pleasant and very helpful. The place was very clean, organized, and very inviting. It looked like a place where you can live and call home. I just met with a staff, and we walked around a bit.

Curtis Creek is a very lovely facility and we're very happy with it. Everything is very nice and clean. The food is very nice, the staff is wonderful, and went above and beyond to make my father-in-law's stay very nice. The activities are very nice.

Curtis Creek didn't really offer what we wanted, and they're way too expensive for us. The people there and the lady that showed us around the community were really nice. Everything looked really nice, and they had really nice rooms as well. The location is good, and they provide transportation for the residents for about everything. One of the apartments we looked at was kind of small, but the rest were neat and nice. They had 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms, they were spacious, and had nice stuff in there.

We have chosen Bickford of Quincy for my mother. They're very caring community, and they have very nice facilities. They do activities too. I would say those are all very positive things. My mother's room is spacious for a single person. However, the kitchenette is small, and the refrigerator doesn't always work quite right because it is one of those small ones. However, the room is laid out nicely and very clean. The staff members help with things. The staff is their big asset. They have a very caring staff.

I really wanted to put my mother-in-law in at Park Regency because they have a 2-person assist, but they only offered one person at the time. The staff was very helpful and every single person that was in there was smiling. They did not seem to be unhappy there. They had a beautiful garden area and one resident was working on model trains out there. The layout of the room was very spacious. You could fit a bedroom, a dresser, and a TV, and still have room to move around in there. It was very nice and very well priced as well. They're adding a memory care facility area across the street later. I liked that it was small and they had their own kitchen and dining area. It was well cared for and very informative too. The lady that we spoke with really showed us that she cared. The food looked delicious and smelled good. The residents were lined up to go in to eat. I would highly recommend that place.

My husband moved into Cross Keys Village, and I would recommend it to anybody. The staff is wonderful and actually cares about the residents; it's not a job to them. The residents are like a family.

Bickford of Quincy was very specialized. They offered three meals a day, multiple activities, housekeeping, and laundry. They had 24/7 nurses and therapies. They had a menu of meal options. The dining room had beautiful linens, and the food was delicious. They had a nice memory care unit.

Curtis Creek was a large place that didn't have the 24/7 nurse that we needed. The residents here were completely independent but had emergency buttons. They had a pool table and transportation. The staff who assisted me was good and explained everything in detail. They had a huge dining room with linens and a dedicated kitchen. They showed me a good-sized studio room that looked adequate.

Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge was an amazing place. The people were really friendly. It was clean, updated, and new. I loved the place. Their price was a little bit higher, but it was worth it. The independent living was one building, the assisted living was across the plaza, but I did not see the memory care. The rooms were huge. The residents were friendly, they had so many nice things to say, and they all seemed very happy.
