I toured Lake St Charles Retirement Community, and that one was my favorite. It's beautiful, they're friendly, and I loved it. The amenities were beautiful. I can't say enough about that place. They have a beauty shop, and they have a little store. I haven't tried the food, but I saw it, and it looked good, too.

Cedarhurst of St. Charles was nice and clean, and they were friendly and answered all my questions. It just didn't fall on my price range. The studio was pretty small, and that's something that turned me off. They told me everything, and they showed me the beauty shop, the game room, the library, and the dining room. The staff was good and knowledgeable.

The Boulevard Senior Living was nice and clean, but it was hospital like rather than home like. I got an email from them thanking me for my visit. They're very accommodating. It was small, but new looking. They accept pets, and they have a beauty salon. It had nice landscape and a good parking area for my car.

Lake St. Charles Retirement Community had both independent and assisted living facilities. It was okay, but it was definitely overpriced. I didn't like that they charge you for a lot of their amenities like laundry. You could get one or two meals, but not all three meals. They had a library, a craft studio, entertainment area, billiards room, health and fitness area, and a chapel.

Lake St Charles seemed friendly. The people were nice. The residents were out and about and interacting with each other. They had a lot of planned activities that I thought my mom would like. It is also in town. My mom wants to stay in St. Charles, so that's the place that I would take her first once she decides that she is ready. The staff who showed me around was very nice.
