Description of Stonecrest
Warm and welcoming is how residents describe their assisted living home, Stonecrest. The apartments are cozy and designed to accommodate seniors with mobility limitations. Meals are served in a community dining room, and those with kitchenettes can choose to cook simply in their own space. Nursing care is available around the clock, and help with daily living tasks from skilled caretakers is provided. Residents like that plenty of scheduled activities are planned, both in the larger common areas and off site. Some of the more popular are games, bingo, quilting, knitting and a walking group. Transportation to events and medical appointments is provided.
