The Lodge in Mendota is nestled into wonderful neighborhood just blocks to the Village of Mendota Heights. Large informal seating areas on each level offer places for family, friends and residents to visit and relax. The house offers a quiet atmosphere with just 5 private bedrooms on each floor. All rooms are fully furnished (feel free to bring your own items to decorate). We are very near Friendly Marsh Park and several food and shopping options.
 
The Lodge extends a supportive blend of expert care and comfort to residents and families in a homelike setting. The Lodge has three homes in the southern metro area. Homes range in capacity from 5 to 14 residents, but all are 100% private rooms and provide full service amenities.
 
While the homes are intentionally casual and inviting, each bedroom is equipped with a specialized hospital bed to ensure total comfort and safety for our residents. The Lodge brings together skilled nursing care, supported by a multidisciplinary team of caregivers in homes that are comfortable for residents, families and friends. The Lodge in Mendota

Suite Living of Inver Grove Heights, located at 7900 Austin Way in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care in a medium‑sized, single‑story community designed for ease of access and personal service. The community features 32 private suites—each with a kitchenette and walk‑in (wheelchair accessible) showers—plus ground‑floor layouts, wide hallways, and an open‑feel floor plan to support comfort and independence. The facility is specifically designed to support individuals with memory loss while fostering a faith‑centered, compassionate environment.

Residents enjoy a welcoming, homelike ambiance where enrichment and convenience blend naturally. A full‑service beauty/barber salon is available onsite alongside housekeeping and dry‑cleaning laundry services, with both clothing and linens laundered weekly. The dining experience is nourishing and inclusive: three homestyle meals a day with low‑ or no‑sodium options, special dietary programming, and guest meals served in the shared dining room. With complimentary Wi‑Fi throughout, raised garden beds and both indoor and outdoor walking areas, residents are encouraged to relax, socialize and continue aging vibrantly. Activities include music, arts &amp; crafts, games, yoga, gardening and resident-led devotional services woven into daily life.

With a high staff‑to‑resident ratio and a team trained directly by Suite Living (not through agencies), care plans include medication management, diabetic and incontinence care, mechanical transfer assistance, and hospice and spiritual support when needed. We do have training that we do throughout the year to keep our staff up to date training.

What ongoing senior care training does the staff receive?

The Average age here is 80.  Some of the favorite activities include card games, and Bingo.

Currently none, but we do suggest people use Metro Mobility.

The Staff takes Training videos throughout the year to keep them up to date.

Through Emails mostly is how the family would receive updates, or by phone calls.

We have 2-3 associates during each shift for first, and second.  Overnight shift is one person.

How many staffers are on duty in the daytime and overnight?

The Menu changes weekly, each month we have Resident Meeting to give input about the menu.

No, but we follow whichever preference the resident has.

Our staff will talk with residents, we do daily events in MC and will find what each residents enjoy and help keep them engaged.  We also have different sensory activities we involve the residents with.

We have Resident Assistants who help assist the residents with meals.

During the day it's three employee's working.  During the evening we have two employee's working, and overnight is one Employee.

We do different activities everyday, some being Bingo, Cribbage, and manicures.

We do have a few parks that are close to us.

We are located in a residential neighborhood.  It is a quiet area but we are not far from stores.
