Water's Edge is a senior housing facility in Mankato that offers innovative elder care. The company strives to provide a real home with quality care, stepping away from the institutional settings found in traditional nursing homes. Water's Edge offers furnished and unfurnished accommodations, an on-site beauty salon and barber shop, cable TV available in all rooms, housekeeping and linen services including daily bed-making and trash removal, individual climate control and private baths with step-in showers in each room, a private spa, complete dining program (3 meals & snacks daily), with special diets accommodated as needed/required. Additionally, transportation is provided for residents' convenience; building and grounds maintenance are included. Services on offer include full-service housekeeping, on-call physician visits, a comprehensive activities & social program, and much more. The community invites seniors to visit and see the philosophy firsthand in the staff's smiles, hear it in their voices, smell it in the cleanliness of the rooms and building, taste it in lovingly prepared meals, and experience it in the atmosphere of care.
