Brookdale Mankato (formerly Sterling House of Mankato) is an assisted living community providing seniors with the fulfilling lifestyle and customized care options essential to maintaining their independence and longevity. We focus on listening to our residents, respecting who they are and attending to the preferences that are essential to them.

At Brookdale Mankato residents are provided with the comfortable surroundings, diverse amenities and personalized care imperative to maintaining a self-reliant lifestyle. Our community features a convenient one-story layout with apartments that are fitted with emergency call systems for added safety. Special access is integrated for those experiencing limited mobility.
Computers with Internet access are available for residents to use. All menu options are designed by a registered dietitian and staff is on-site and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Administration of all medications is supervised by a professional nurse.
Available Services
Residents are provided with personal laundry and housekeeping services. Scheduled transportation is available for shopping, medical appointments, banking and social outings.
We offer varied levels of care based upon the unique needs of each resident, and service plans for each resident are routinely reviewed and updated. I visited this facility
Brookdale Mankato was a smaller, darker community that didn't have an airy feeling. It's too depressing, and the apartments were small. The director was friendly. I wouldn't put my dad there, and I don't want to be there. The experience was fine, but the location and the place were not my cup of tea.
