My client is at Manor on the Hill. I'm very positively impressed as well as the resident who I helped move in. I have no complaints. It's clean, well organized, homey, and welcoming. The staff is exceptionally friendly and appropriate. I've been in long-term care and I was a resident director in an assisted living, so I've got a lot of background in that whole industry of geriatric care and for me to say those things is significant. They're doing their best to continue with activities with appropriate social distancing and still meet a pretty wholesome menu of needs of the residents under those circumstances.

We chose Manor on the Hill for our mother because it's adequate for our needs and the location is convenient for us, so we're satisfied. She's in the memory care section, and her room there is OK. They provide stimuli for the residents like games and outside activities. The amenities in the dementia unit are basic, like some outdoor space and some ability to be independent. It's very warm and inviting. They provide one-on-one care without the nursing home environment.

The staff at Manor On The Hill was very good and very helpful. The director of the center took a lot of time with me, answered all of my questions, and was extremely helpful. The rooms were very small, but seemed to be clean and well-maintained. I saw their dining area and the menu, but I did not try their food. They gave me a box of cookies on the way out. The pricing seemed fair and in line with what I've seen from other facilities.

Manor on the Hill was $4,000 a month and I could not afford that. I would love to go in there though. It was beautiful and the people seemed really nice. The view is absolutely breathtaking outside and everything looks like a castle, but it's not. You have your own little spaces and I like that. The lady who showed me around was wonderful.

My mother goes to Manor on the Hill for day care twice a week. They have activities, fresh food, and good meals. She likes it. They have live entertainment on Tuesdays and outings on Fridays. We really like it. They have a great staff who are very caring and really family-oriented.
