Independence Court of Hyattsville is an assisted living & memory care community centrally located in the historic Hyattsville Arts District, South of the University of Maryland, at East-West Highway and Route 1 in Hyattsville, Maryland. There are numerous unique shops, restaurants, historical sites, and a community center to enjoy with friends and family. Our community is also within minutes of five major hospitals.

As you enter Independence Court, you’ll experience a warm welcome from our lobby receptionist. Spa-like colors and décor make our assisted living community peaceful and comfortable. Our community is affordable, offering both private and semi-private packages. Independence Court is also proud to accept Medicaid Waiver, veterans’ Aid and Attendance, long-term care insurance, and private pay.

Independence Court has two beautiful courtyards for socializing and relaxing. They are sunny and bright, with just the right amount of shade and a beautiful array of garden flowers. Our courtyards are large enough to hold our summer series of concerts as well as barbecues where we serve our homemade lemonade.

Visionary Square, located at 2401 Washington Place NE in the historic Brentwood neighborhood of Washington, DC, offers modern and convenient independent living for residents aged 60 and older. This four-story community, built in 2016, comprises 47 apartment homes designed to provide comfort and affordable luxury. Residents benefit from the community's proximity to the Rhode Island/Brentwood Metro Station, just one block away, facilitating easy access to the city's attractions. Additionally, the neighborhood boasts numerous retail shops, restaurants, and businesses, including TJ Maxx, Giant, Bank of America, and Home Depot, all within walking distance. 

Each apartment at Visionary Square features a spacious floor plan with abundant natural light and a modern kitchen equipped with energy-efficient appliances, including a full-size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and disposal. While in-unit laundry facilities are not available, residents have access to shared on-site laundry facilities for convenience. The community also offers amenities such as a club room and TV lounge, providing spaces for relaxation and socialization. 

Visionary Square is a smoke-free community that provides on-street parking for residents. The management office is located on-site at 2401 Washington Place NE, with office hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The community is situated in a walker's paradise, with a Walk Score® of 91, and is very bikeable, with a Bike Score® of 83, making it an ideal location for active seniors seeking a vibrant urban lifestyle.

Set in an ideal location, Prince of Peace III Assisted Living has been offering premiere care in a home-like atmosphere for 20 years. We offer all-inclusive pricing and can handle complex medical issues in a loving environment.
