At Sequoia Senior Care (SSC), we understand that choosing an assisted living community is a big and difficult decision for families. We want to make that decision a bit simpler for you. We offer warm, home-like environments nestled in well-established neighborhoods in Howard County, MD. Our homes offer 24-hour care; but more importantly, our well-trained caregivers understand the importance of balancing independence and care for our residents. We are experts in memory care and we have a Medical Doctor on our leadership team.

Larger facilities can oftentimes feel cold and institutional. They have high caregiver-to-resident ratios, and generally have lower levels of socializing. Our homes are intentionally designed to offer a variety of both independent tranquil spaces as well as spaces for socializing and activities. We recognize socializing and physical activity are integral in maintaining overall wellbeing. Our home-like setting and activity offerings are designed to engage, entertain, and enrich the lives of our residents.

Our home offers 8 private rooms for residents to enjoy the privacy and comfort of their own rooms. We have a bathroom ratio of two to one, with each resident having their own sink. Residents have access to a variety of common areas, including two kitchens, two living rooms with TVs and fireplaces, two dining areas, a library/game room, and an outdoor patio. Our homes are equipped with ramps, handrails, and stairlifts to ensure our residents can easily get around.

We understand the importance of maintaining independence and dignity, which is why our experienced and compassionate staff is dedicated to providing personalized care and support to each of our residents. Whether it's assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), such as bathing, dressing, medication, eating, or simply providing companionship and conversation, we are here to help.

We offer gourmet meals three times a day, as well as nutritious snacks. Our services include laundry, housekeeping, ADL support, and activities for residents’ mind, body, and spirit!
