I was accommodated very well at McDowell Place of Danville. The social worker was very thorough, very helpful and took me on a complete tour of the entire facility. The residents reached out to me when I was waiting for the social worker and asked me to join them in their activities. It was immaculately clean. There were activities going on with the residents in different areas. Everyone seemed friendly. It seemed a relaxed atmosphere, and the facility was updated.

I visited McDowell Place, but you could strongly smell the disinfectants that they use. It seemed that most of the people there are almost in their 90s, and there's an exorbitant amount of wheelchairs and walkers. They had assigned seating during meals, and they come over and check on you. I didn't like that because that meant you couldnÂ’t mix and talk to different people. They have a TV room, a game room, a salon, and a gym.

They were very hospitable at McDowell Place of Danville. We enjoyed the visit. They had a lot of amenities. We dined with them and had a wonderful lunch. It was very well taken care of. We looked at the suite, and it was very nice. The internet, television, and access to the other parts of the facilities were very accommodating. It had multiple floors.
