Welcome to Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community! Bartels offers a full range of services on a 20-acre campus: nursing care, skilled nursing and rehab, Alzheimer's/dementia care, assisted living, and two communities of independent living.
 
With its Christian-based mission and â€œresidents firstâ€ philosophy, Bartels gives residents peace of mind knowing they can move to a higher level of care when needed without having to leave the community they call home. Support services include a full-time chaplaincy program, music therapy, horticultural therapy, social work support, nutrition services, therapy services, housekeeping/laundry, maintenance, transportation, beauty/barber shop, weekly banking service and a full schedule of activities.

An Upcoming Independent Living Community created from a Landmark Hotel that was Built in 1958. The Independent Living Community will have a lot to offer to upcoming Residents. We will have Daily Activities, Home Made Style meals, Housekeeping and lots of social hr. Events. The community is close to restaurants and shopping.

We are a new Community so there will be room for additions to comfort needs of the residents. We will be making improvements throughout the year. Please let us know what you need to make the move and living in our community easier for you. We are a community that puts residents first.

Cedar Vale Assisted Living offers a great location, featuring an expansive lawn with a wooded area and river close by. We are surrounded by nature and wildlife. In addition to peace and quiet, our residents are able to enjoy peace of mind, knowing they are free from home maintenance issues, personal care worries, and safety concerns.

At Cedar Vale Assisted Living, your loved one will receive the cares they need just the way they want them. Upon move in, post-assessment, we create a service plan unique to each resident. 

Apartment rent includes: 3 meals per day, housekeeping, laundry and linen changes. Rent also includes all utilities, with the exception of phone.
