Description of Clover Ridge Place
Named “Property of the Year” by the Iowa Assisted Living Association in 2009, Clover Ridge Place is a charming assisted living and memory care community with a warm, homelike feel. Nestled in the small, rural community of Maquoketa on a hill overlooking the city and acres of beautiful Iowa timber, our community boasts easy access to hospitals, shopping, restaurants and parks.
Clover Ridge Place is managed by Senior Housing Management, a professional real estate management firm based in Cedar Rapids. Every individual at a Senior Housing community enjoys the appreciation and value of our signature Red Carpet Treatment.
Featured Amenities
Our apartment homes come in a selection of studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans that feature ample storage and living space, private bathrooms, in-suite climate control and wall-to-wall carpeting. All apartments are pet-friendly and select homes also feature full kitchens or kitchenettes.
When not soaking up some sun on our outdoor patio, curling up with a good book from our library or getting their hair done in our on-site beauty salon, our residents enjoy participating in one of our many fun scheduled activities. Our full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator plans a robust calendar of daily events such as radio Bingo, housewarming parties and excursions to local destinations.
Available Services
At Clover Ridge Place, our cheerful staff are on hand to take care of life's many chores such as housekeeping, laundry, linen changing, transportation and meal service. To better serve the needs of our residents, we employ a full-time Social Worker as well as full-time Registered Nurse who is on call 24/7 in case of emergency.
For seniors challenged by Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, our Closer Care program provides a secure home within our property that is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team. For one all-inclusive monthly fee, the program provides personal coaching, reminders and activities that focus on retaining everyday skills.

- Special Comment: Residents remain active in their community through local organizations, clubs and groups who meet in the community. These include Rotary, Women’s Club, church groups, intergenerational reading programs through the local YMCA, and others. Residents remain physically and cognitively fit through our Live 2B Healthy Senior Fitness Program. Restaurant style dining is offered throughout the day with a full anytime menu. Music Speaks Therapy program is offered in Memory Care. A monthly Alzheimer’s support group is offered, as well as a 1 hour vacation for caregivers.
