The Castlewood independent living is very good. The staff we worked with were very good and helpful. The apartment that my sister will be moving into looks nice and they're going to put new carpet in. The people seemed to like the food and the menu was good.

Century Pines' staff is incredibly helpful, but the facility is old. It needs some updating, and the memory care unit is an old house converted into a facility, and to get to some of the rooms, you have to walk up a ramp through the kitchen and through the laundry room, and it's not good. They have private and semi-private rooms, and they were OK. Jim Edwards, the owner/administrator was great, wonderful, accommodating, and very helpful.

Century Pines is an older facility, but it's well-maintained. They have nice rooms and I like that they overlook the courtyard, which has birds and flowers. I like the facility and it may be the place we choose for my mother. They have a bus that takes people shopping, baseball games up in Springfield, and activities down in Branson, and I really like that aspect of it. They have a library, exercise room, and several separate rooms for family to meet when they come to visit. I really like the people. They're friendly and knowledgeable. They're in the process of updating some of the rooms.

The staff at The Castlewood Senior Living was rude. It was very large, nicer, and had a big dining area and fancy menu. It had a theater room, an exercise room, and a salon.
