The Villas of Holly Brook employs a full time Activity Director. Activities are very diverse, and everyone is encouraged to attend as each person chooses. We wont knock on your door to remind you of an activity that you have not chosen to participate in. We will, however, remind you to attend those activities which are your favorites. A monthly calendar is provided to remind everyone of activity dates and times. Examples of current activities are as follow: Bingo, coffee hour, morning devotion, Church services, special Communion services, Jeopardy , blackjack, card games, word games, crafts, monthly birthday party celebration, baking activities, chair exercises, exercise equipment use, nails painting, karaoke, shopping trips, and more. One of the most exciting features of The Villas of Holly Brook is the live entertainment presented for residents enjoyment by local volunteers from colleges, high schools, violin classes, dance classes, etc. We have enjoyed Christmas caro ling, country music, opera, and cabaret, and almost any other type of music you may think of. We enjoy inter-generational programs with a wonderful local daycare for children. If a resident moves in who has a hobby or interest that we are not currently engaged in, we will work together to start that activity and promote interest among our current residents.
