Joining The Moorings of Arlington Heights is like retiring to the country but having the conveniences of shopping and dining all within a mile of your home. Our landscaped campus is filled with nature, from the residents' vegetable and flower gardens to the lake that attracts local wildlife. For those times when you want to visit the local area, Arlington Heights has plenty of places to visit, including the Arlington Lakes Golf Club and the Friendship Park Conservatory.

The Moorings of Arlington Heights is one of five communities owned by Presbyterian Homes. For more than 100 years, our nonprofit, faith-based organization has served older adults from diverse backgrounds throughout the greater Chicago area. We strive to be an industry leader in developing innovative and quality residential programs that enrich the lives of older adults.

The Moorings of Arlington Heights features a variety of lifestyles - from neighborhood living in free-standing villas to the community living of apartments - and after visiting our community, you will easily be able to picture yourself at home here. You have many floor plans to choose from, including one- and two-bedroom layouts. Full-size kitchens, fireplaces and patios are found in the villas, while the apartments have full-size kitchens, patios and underground parking.

With all that happens around our community, you will find yourself hardly at home, what with art classes at the fine arts studio, water aerobics classes in the fitness center and spontaneous gatherings in the loggia happening every day. There is also a woodworking shop, not to mention the many trails that beckon for a stroll.

For the times when you just want a quick snack to the nights when you want a fine dining experience, you can have both. We have a convenience shop and deli for items to grab when you are on the go, while the community dining rooms feature restaurant-style dining. For your morning coffee, you can stop by our fully stocked coffee bar.

We also offer skilled nursing and memory care services at the Health Care Center.
