Description of Refuge Family Care
Refuge Family Care is located in the small city of Hampton, Georgia. Situated approximately 25 miles southeast of Atlanta, Hampton offers seniors a quiet way of life while also providing opportunities for cultural and social enjoyment. The Catherine S. Williams Community Center plans many events and activities for seniors to enjoy.
Refuge Family Care provides studio and one-bedroom apartments for seniors who can no longer live independently and require assisted living services. Skilled staff members work around the clock to provide help for all activities of daily living. A visiting nurse provides monthly wellness checks, and a physician is on call should further medical treatment be required. Seniors diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or dementia can receive additional assistance.
Residents at Refuge Family Care can participate in daily health and fitness activities to stay physically active. The staff also plans other activities designed to promote social interaction and sharpen mental acuity. Residents are treated to gourmet dining, with special provisions made for dietary restrictions. The facility offers visiting hours each day for friends and family, and residents enjoy relaxing times in spacious common areas located throughout the property.
