Sunrise at Ivey Ridge is a very nice community. We're very happy with the facility, the accommodations, and the environment. The people and the support have been very good. I've been totally satisfied from the administrative staff that continue to help us with whatever administrative needs are there, to the nurse, the technical support, and the folks taking care of my mother. My interaction and experience with them is very good. They're kind and professional, and they try to build rapport with my mother and they're patient. The dining facility is very nice, and the food is very good and well made. The whole experience has been very good and very positive. It's very comfortable. They had a nice Thanksgiving and Christmas party and they were able to bring the whole family in. The setup was really nice, well done and catered in. I was very impressed. It costs a lot of money, but you're getting what you pay for.

I have a relative in this place. The facilities are new and nice. But the service is very poor. Extremely understaffed and poorly managed. Patients buzz for help and wait for hours. 90% of the time there is no response. Even the emergency pull elicits no response. Their disorganization has led to patient meds getting messed up. The director has been notified many times but she makes excuses, even blaming the patients, but the problems remain unresolved.

Tapestry House Assisted Living was very pretty, but the staff looked very uncomfortable and did not look relaxed with the residents. I didn't see much interaction. It was a nice layout, and it was huge. For people using wheelchairs or walkers, to go from one section to the next would be a lot. The new building was very nice. I just didn't care for the feel of it. It wasn't so friendly or inviting. The place was so big, and there wasn't enough residents to fill it up. It didn't have that homey feeling.
