I'm staying at Vi at Lakeside Village in Lantana. It's very nice, and they're doing an excellent job under the circumstances. I'm very happy here. The staff members are all very efficient and pleasant. I have no problem with everybody. For activities right now, they have the exercise room and the gym opened with a limited number of people. We also have some social group meetings with a limited number of people. Occasionally, they bring in somebody and we can sit outside and listen to the musicians. On New Year's Eve, we had some entertainment and some food given to us afterwards.

My father lived in Atlantis Assisted Living. It was a low-cost facility, and they charge one flat fee. They were friendly and accommodating. They have a fountain, gazebo, and places where residents sit. The rooms were varied, single, double, and are of different sizes. My father liked it there.

Atlantis had independent, assisted, and maybe memory care. The staff was nice, but the person I should have been speaking with was not available. A lady who worked there showed me the place instead, and she couldn't answer any of the questions that I had. She was nice but not helpful with information. The dining area was OK, but it didn't look as nice as the other community we visited. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rooms were small and looked like regular rooms for one person. It wasn't brand new. Some rooms had their own bathroom, and for some, you had to walk down the hall for the shower. They had a kitchenette, microwave, and a sink, but no refrigerator. The community was OK and clean, but it had an old mop smell.
