If you are considering Bowman Place Memory Care, I encourage you to think twice. Our family experienced repeated failures in communication, inconsistent care, poor hygiene, inadequate hydration, and concerns with overnight monitoring. Important incidents were not consistently communicated to us, and we often discovered issues ourselves. The staff repeatedly demonstrated a lack of understanding of dementia care and effective dementia communication. Behaviors associated with dementia were often handled in ways that escalated situations rather than de-esscalated them. When concerns were raised, leadership was dismissive instead of working collaboratively to address them. Memory care requires specialized knowledge, compassion, and strong communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and we cannot recommend Bowman Place Memory Care to other families.

This place is awful..they do not take care of their patients.. I call and never get anyone to answer outside of the operator who sends you to voicemail.. I have brought my loved one clothing and throws for his bed that just go missing every time..they tell you to add their name but what does it matter if someone is taking them home?? I’m looking for a new facility but everything is so expensive … This place is BAD!!

This place is an absolute dump. I am writing this as I have been up all night - freezing! No heat is on in the building, yet it is only 45 degrees out. Food is HORRIFIC. Leadership is beyond poor. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!

A Country Place was the perfect place for our dad. It Is a friendly, home-like atmosphere on a beautiful 5-acre property, with fruit groves and barnyard animals. My dad was very fond of the animals, especially the baby peacocks and liked watching them grow. Rob and Nancy are the owner operators. Rob pays attention to every detail and is incredibly helpful to both the residents and the family. The staff is amazing, food great and fun events are available. A Country Place has our highest recommendation – it is a great, friendly, safe place who will watch over your loved one and keep you informed. Thank you.
