Description of The Caring Place
Situated in the coastal community of Fort Lauderdale, FL, The Caring Place is just a short drive away from south Florida's plentiful beaches and canals. Ocean views provide a peaceful setting, with plenty of space to relax, walk, and take in nature. The area's restaurants, shops and museums offer opportunities to explore.
Staff at The Caring Place assists seniors with daily activities, such as dressing, grooming and toileting. Three home-cooked meals are provided daily, all catered to residents' unique dietary needs. The wheelchair-accessible community provides easy mobility, and a computerized system alerts caregivers when residents move into unsafe areas. A doctor is on call, and incontinence, memory and hospice care are also available.
Complimentary transportation is available, so residents can easily get to and from important appointments, errands and activities. The local bus line is also nearby for easy come and go, and resident parking is available. A visiting nurse, podiatrist and physical, occupational and speech therapists ensure that seniors stay healthy.
