Our visit at Summerfield Senior Living is a very nice place, that's why we chose it. We walked in and it just gave us a good feeling, from the way the place looked, to the people who were really friendly. It's just a place we're comfortable with. We spoke to Becky, she's probably the marketing director, she showed us around and showed us the room, dining area, and activity place. My dad seemed to really like it when we took him there. It just had a homely feeling/atmosphere. When you first walk in it's very warm and the residents walk around; they were very friendly. It was a good feeling that we have and it was a good place for my dad. They offer a lot of activities, they have schedules for bingo, and they go places. They also have activities where they go outside the building.

Summerfield Senior Living was excellent. My husband's father and my great aunt were there. I had no complaints. They have several room sizes. If one is not available, you can be put on a waiting list. My father-in-law's room was one of the smaller rooms, but it was very adequate for him and clean. I saw my aunt and her buddies doing jigsaw puzzles. High schoolers came in and sang songs. When my great aunt was there, they had a prom night. People can have their pets with them and we would bring our dog when my father-in-law was there. They have dogs that visit the residents. It's the place where my mother will go when she's ready.

I like Summerfield Senior Living a lot. I like that they have raised bed gardens in the back and a mural on the fence that patients could do whatever they want with it. They have the same things as other places, like three meals, recreational rooms, places where they do exercises, and a beautiful dining room. The place was beautiful and very well maintained; however, I didn't like the area it was in. It did not look secure or safe.

Summerfield is good. The people who are caring for my mother seem to be attentive to her, and they communicate with me. The room is fine, the place is nice, and access is good. I spoke to the chef the other day while he was preparing the food for 4th of July, and it looked really good.
