When looking for something to do at our community, residents are never disappointed. The landscaped grounds are ideal for a morning or evening stroll and there are also dog walking paths. The café offers a number of tasty beverages and snacks, and residents are found there at all times chatting and playing games. In the elegant dining room, our residents enjoy three elegant restaurant-style meals that are prepared by our very own on-site chef.
Apartments are offered in studio, one- and two-bedroom arrangements. All accommodations come standard with a private balcony, private baths, ample closet space, individually controlled thermostats and emergency call systems for extra peace of mind. Other community features include a theatre room for private events, a billiards room, and complimentary laundry facilities.
Available Services
Included in the monthly fee for our assisted living residents are three meals a day, laundry service and housekeeping, 24-hour staffing and scheduled transportation to shopping and medical appointments. Our residents enjoy the convenience of a a full-service salon right on site, along with the relaxation found in our whirlpool spa. We also offer a wellness program and each resident receives a customized care plans.

I visited this facility
We're moving my parents to the Regency Grand. We're on the waiting list and I've already put my downpayment. It's like $1,000 a month more at least, so I guess you get what you pay for. They have current events talks over coffee, something to keep my Dad going because he hasn't lost it, and he's very smart. It looks more like a hotel, is more luxurious, has more activities, and is more beautiful than other facilities. The food is not just a set menu, it's pretty much like a restaurant where you can order anytime. Those were the things that stood out to us. The activities were more like current events talks, there's a movie every day in the movie theater, and they have outings to museums. It's just more treating them like adults. I just went to go give the $1,000 holding fee and when I went there, I wasn't expecting for them to be able to give me a tour, but they did. They took the time and they showed me all around. I didn't have an appointment. I got the chance to speak with some of the other residents. They have a little cat that walks around and even some parakeets. It just seemed really alive. I'm really looking forward to that experience.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I chose Regency Grand because it's close to everything that I'm used to. They have outings, card games, board games, and exercise. There's nothing in the evening though. We lost our chef, and they're in the process of looking for another one, but for the most part the food is OK. However, the serving staff needs to be trained, because the cleanliness in setting tables and things is not the best. We have a little bistro, a hot tub, a library, and exercise rooms.

I visited this facility
Regency Grand at West Covina was like living in a hotel. It was very pretty, new, big, and very nice, but it didn’t have a homey feeling. The room was large with wheelchair-accessible bathroom, a closet, and a kitchenette. They charge you by the individual service. They had a lot of activities to offer. It had a nice outdoor area and a lot of public rooms.
