Seniors assessed as needing nursing home care qualify at any income level if they meet the program’s eligibility requirements and asset limits. Seniors with incomes exceeding the Medi-Cal limits may qualify on a&nbsp;<a href="https://files.medi-cal.ca.gov/pubsdoco/publications/masters-mtp/part1/share_z01.doc" target="_blank" data-mce-href="https://files.medi-cal.ca.gov/pubsdoco/publications/masters-mtp/part1/share_z01.doc" rel="noopener noreferrer">share of cost</a>&nbsp;basis.
