Description of Mitchells Nursing Home Inc.
Mitchell's is a privately owned, family operated, 5-star facility. Drexel and Maurine Mitchell opened the original nursing home in 1962. A family legacy continued with their children, Agnes and James, who grew up learning the nursing home business. After the Drexel and Maurine's passing, James and Agnes took over operations, with Agnes at the helm as the Director of Nursing. The Mitchell family continued to grow the business with the building of a new facility in 1997.
