Silver Creek Assisted Living was nice, but it did not offer the medical care I needed, and so it wasn’t the right place for me. The staff was good and answered my questions. They used to be motel rooms, each room has its own bathroom, but the room they showed was under construction, so it did not look nice. They only have one elevator, and if that goes out, I can’t go up and down the stairs, and they have 3 levels.

I went to Prestige Assisted Living at Lake Havasu, and I didn't see a lot of activities going on there. I wasn't terribly impressed. The one staff member I met was very good. The room I saw was empty and didn't impress me too much. She showed us all of the facilities. They had lounge areas and there were a few people using them. We also saw a glimpse of the courtyard. It was a little bit worn and a very large facility.

I'm in Joshua Springs Senior Living and everybody that works here is great. I really like them. I'm up on top, and I have a nice, good sized living room, an area for a dining room table, my own bedroom and a bath. The kitchen is small. It has a sink, a cupboard, a refrigerator, and a microwave. We can't cook here other than with a microwave, but it's nice. We all have good windows to look out. They have a gym with two bicycles and a treadmill, a chapel, a theater, a room upstairs for painting and doing artwork, and a beauty parlor. We play bingo three times a week, we have tea and cookies and just talk, movies every Sunday night, and a bus that takes us to lunch every Friday, and they'll take you and pick you up to the doctors. It's very clean. The staff is excellent. The food is getting better because someone new took over. They have patios on both sides you can go out the patio at the front with nice seats.

Prestige Assisted Living at Claremont was nice. They showed me three rooms of different sizes and layouts, the dining room, and the pool area. The community felt like a big family. Everybody spoke to each other by their first names. The residents seemed comfortable with the personnel. It's a community-based program. However, if my mother wanted a larger room, like a two-bedroom, she would have to share with another resident.

Prestige Assisted Living at Lake Havasu was very nice. It's nicer and newer than the other Prestige I visited, although it didn't have the community feeling that the other one did, and there were a lot more residents.

I chose Prestige Assisted Living for my mom because they are the best in town. I also know another woman who lives there. My mom is involved in lots of activities. She plays bingo and cards, and takes bus trips to Walmart. It is a pretty good deal. She is having fun. However, it is very expensive.

My visit to Prestige Assisted Living at Claremont was absolutely wonderful. Stephanie was great, and everything was really impressive. Everything about the place was extremely clean, it looked very comfortable and just had a very good and homey kind of feel. I very much like the amenities, specially the pool.

I looked at White Cliffs Senior Living, and that’s an impressive facility. I saw the floor plans, the different sizes and styles of the rooms, and there’s a nice variety, but you have to bring your own furniture. If you don’t have anything, they will help you get stuff to bring in. They have a poker room, bingo room, library, and a movie theater. They have restaurant-style dining, and each night there are two choices. Someone comes to the table to take their orders, and I thought that was pretty cool. I thought that was dignified for the residents as well. They have planned activities that the residents want to come down and participate in, and they have events. There’s a separate room, and you can rent that room if you have family members visit, so you can sit down to dinner together at the same table. They come and take your order too. Everybody that I talked to was super nice, they followed up, and they contacted me after the visit. The place was clean, I was totally blown away, and I might just move in there myself. They also have an inner courtyard with benches and grass, you can sit out there, and because it’s in the center, there are always shaded parts, except for at high noon of course.

My parents are moving into Prestige Assisted Living at Claremont. I find it very clean, the residents are very happy, and the staff is very pleasant. It was overall a great visit. I saw the kitchen, it was very clean, well-organized, and the residents looked well fed. They had an Elvis Presley impersonator, and the residents found it very entertaining. Each unit has a patio so you can go outside and sit.
