1 Continuing Care Community in Green Valley, Arizona

I visited a friend in Santa Rita Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I considered the staff and the people that worked there to be excellent. The apartments were very small and some of them had two people in each one. The room that my friend was in, he had a roommate, but the room was very large and it was kind of dark; it wasn't well lit. For the most part, I get it. Like the apartments and the outside grounds are nice for the people, but the room where they send the patients, it wasn't what I would call "kind of home-like." Otherwise, it wasn't too bad of a place. I sat with my friend while he ate, and then helped him. He seemed to like the food, but I couldn't tell you what it was like. I was also there for breakfast several times. It was rather meager, but probably it was alright. He was in the behavioral section and I did not see any activities. It was clean and the structure was pretty good.

Silver Springs is an upgraded motel. They do cleaning and laundry. The rooms are small, but I like it a lot. They clean every day, and it's very nice. They do a nice job and allow my cat to live here. The food is good. I like the staff. Everything is good.

I would live at The Peaks at Santa Rita if I had to. It's very nice and my friend is very happy. Everyone is very friendly and they have beautiful grounds. They have great food in the cafeteria because the chef is amazing and really good. They have a pool, a theater room, and a workout area. They have more things to do than you have time for; all kinds of good things. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. My friend is getting her money's worth.

I had a few caregivers from them and most of them were unfamiliar with the equipment, although I told them already beforehand what I needed. One of them was very good and on time, but the others had trouble remembering the instructions. The owner said that he would teach the caregivers how to use the equipment, but it didn't seem to work out that way. I would not recommend them because I didn't think they were well-educated for their job.

It was lovely, very nice, clean, and homey. The studio apartment was adequate for me. They have special classes like painting class. The people that I talked to were very nice. I had a meal and the food was very good.
