Genesee Gardens seemed very bright, friendly and clean. There's a library, a fitness room, and a huge calendar of all different kinds of activities. The lady who conducted the tour and gave us the information was superb. She was very helpful, answered all of our questions, very friendly, and accommodating.

Genesee Gardens' staff and residents were friendly and relaxed. The grounds were clean with bushes trimmed. The location was good for my mother mainly because it's close to where she already lives. They had a game room where people cards nightly, a library with books and puzzles, and a bistro area where they hang out and socialize. We intend to move in there April or May. We had lunch there which was very impressive and had good flavor. The dining experience was like going to a classy restaurant instead of going to a diner. The studio apartment was large and furnished. We also saw a furnished one-bedroom, which was very nice and roomy.

Genesee Gardens was nice. The staff was very helpful, very present, and communicated well with the residents. It was more like being in an assisted situation, but with a lot more freedom. They've got indoor and outdoor entrances to the apartments, which I thought was nice, so you can park outside of your room or apartment. I looked at both the studio and the one-bedroom. They had a lot of activities, services to take people places, and group trips, so there's a lot going on.

We looked at Genesee Gardens. It's private pay, so my insurance would not cover them. However, it was nice, and they have a room that we would have liked. They provide three meals a day, which is nice. And if you need your meals delivered to your room, they would do that too. If my insurance company would cover my wife, the price for the other room would have been fine.

Genesee Gardens is beautiful with excellent staff. They acknowledge and greet you every time you walk in, tell you about whoever is there, and are very informative. I can’t say enough about them. The dining area is awesome. You can go there any time, any day of the week and dine with them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is very good. The rooms are excellent and very clean; they do an awesome job in taking care of them. Their amenities are super. I like the hair salon and the little convenient store inside for any little necessities. They have a lot of outings residents sign up to do and go somewhere every week. It’s just wonderful.

I visited Genesee Gardens for my mother. The facility was well laid out, wide, and cheerful. For our needs, what I really liked about the community was that they had full nursing services available on-site and that they had contractors on-site that the residents could turn to if they needed that level of service. Another thing that I liked about it is that their goal is once you become a member of the community, all efforts will be made to have you reside there for the remainder of your life. Their managers were on-site. It's a little more expensive but still in a price range that my mother could afford.

Genesee Gardens was fine. They serve you lunch or dinner as you sit down like in a restaurant. It's not cafeteria style, and they have a chef. They have a separate room for private family get-togethers and special occasions. They had a library, exercise room, computers, and activities. I liked it, and I'm considering it. I liked the rooms. They showed me the studio and the single room apartment. The staff during the tour was very good. I talked to several of the residents, and they seemed nice.

Genesee Gardens was nice, we liked it, but it was a long way away and I didn't want to drive there every day. It was clean, and the staff was nice. The dining area was fine, they had little tables, and a breakfast buffet. It was nice. The room was adequate for one person.
