<p>New residents can choose from studio and one-bedroom apartment floor plans that only need a few treasured items - and a furry friend - to make it feel like home. We also offer the option of private and companion apartments. Each apartment has a kitchenette so residents can make a snack between meals and an emergency call system in case help is ever needed.</p>

<p>Meals made from scratch are what residents enjoy every day at the Bread Basket dining room where meals are served restaurant style. In the inviting Bistro, snacks and beverages are available at all times. Other amenities that make our residents love living at Bickford of Grand Island include an on-site salon and whirlpool spa room.</p>

<p>Our residents maintain the highest level of independence because we create customized care plans that meet their needs. Certified, friendly caregivers are always available to provide a helping hand with dressing or grooming. Our registered nurse provides care coordination, which makes life that much easier for our residents and their families.</p>

<p>If you are a veteran who served during war time, you and/or your spouse may be eligible for financial assistance paying for Assisted Living expenses.
