I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother moved into Lakeland Manor. We chose it because it was conveniently 10 minutes away from my home. The price point that we were looking for, around $2,500 or less, was definitely a key point. It was one of the first places I visited. They had two locations and I visited both of them. Overall, I liked the overall feeling of it. It was comfortable. As far as the amenities and the things that they offered that were included in the price, they were also very good. She needs 24-hour care, laundry help, and lifting because she's in a wheelchair as a stroke patient. They even have a hair salon in there as well. Yesterday, I spoke with one of their nurses who called me to keep me posted. Overall, she is safe, good, and hasn't stressed any issues. She can't have salt or sodium, so the food is cooked to her diet. Up until now, I've been pretty impressed with their attention to detail, but even more so with the little things like calling and texting. She has been to other places, and it hasn't been like that. Even the first day she started, they had a birthday party for everyone in January. She actually got to experience that. They take them out on a weekly basis. They have them planned for the next month. The building has just been remodeled.
