Our residents don't have to compromise when needing assisted living but wanting to enjoy life. At Oak Creek Place, we go the extra mile by providing a full range of activities and services so seniors can continue pursing life. Located in historic South Milwaukee, but just minutes away from Milwaukee proper, our residents can enjoy the atmosphere of a small town with all the amenities of a bustling city.
Oak Creek Place is just one of the many properties managed by Enlivant. An operator of more than 200 senior living residences, the goal of Enlivant is to enhance senior's lives by providing them with a homelike setting that encourages independence.
Featured Amenities
Our apartments are designed to inspire a homelike environment with a kitchenette and microwave included in our studio or one-bedroom apartments that can be private or shared. Safety features, such as grab bars in the bathroom and an emergency call system, are standard. Our residents' pets are welcome, though certain restrictions apply.
The community is designed with gathering spaces, such as lounges, a TV room and library, where our residents can socialize. To foster an active mind and body, there are exercise programs and an activity room for crafts. Nutritious meals are served restaurant-style, so visiting with friends continues over dinner.
Available Services
On-call twenty-four hours a day is a registered nurse who can address any health care issues that might arise. In addition to providing assistance with bathing and dress, medication assistance is also available. Transportation to medical appointments or events can be arranged as needed.
Residents enjoy a homelike setting without and of the worries or hassle of home ownership. We take care of maintenance, utilities, housekeeping and laundry service. Friends or family are welcome to visit, as we do provide guest accommodations.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
We chose Oak Creek Place because the apartment was a little bigger, and it has a little kitchenette, living room, and bedroom. There are only 60 rooms there so it's a smaller community. It seems like my mom is getting all the care that she needs there, it's very welcoming, and everybody greets you. They have a lot of activities to do there, which is very nice. They have exercising, movies, games, a beauty parlor where my mom gets her hair done, and so on. The place itself is very clean and sunny. They have a chef, they get three meals a day, and the food we sampled was pretty good. If the residents don't like something they can switch it.
