Providing a fun and friendly environment for senior living, Van Mall is a vibrant retirement community in Southwestern Washington. Centrally located in a quiet, residential area, our community is close to Westfield Shopping Town, Royal Oaks Country Club, Southwest Washington Medical Center and the many attractions of the neighboring city of Portland. The C Tran bus and handicap shuttles also come right to our front door.
Van Mall is managed by Leisure Care, a Seattle-based company that has been serving seniors since 1976. As one of the largest, privately-held retirement and assisted living companies in the nation, we strive to create happy residents, families, employees and partners.

Our three-story community offers a selection of deluxe studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes. Apartments feature wall-to-wall carpeting, convenient kitchenettes, in-suite climate control and cable television. All residences at Van Mall are equipped with an emergency call system for added peace of mind.
With a full calendar of engaging activities happening daily at our community, there is never a shortage of fun things to do. Van Mall was not too bad, except the facility was a little older. They have a beauty salon. The rooms are a little bit smaller than I expected, and they're old too. I noticed the other people there seemed much older than me. The person who showed us around was really great. I really appreciated the way she presented the whole thing and she was really friendly. The dining facility seemed OK, but we didn't have a meal there. The activities seemed fine, except I need a little bit more challenging physical activities. The TV room and movie room were OK, but Wi-Fi was not available, and I depend quite a bit on Wi-Fi. Installing my own Wi-Fi would be too much trouble, but they are planning to put one in.
