Nestled in between the mountains and waterways of beautiful Gig Harbor, The Lodge at Mallard’s Landing is a premiere independent living and assisted living community offering retirement living apartments and cottages. Opened in April of 2010, The Lodge is a brand new, first-class community with the latest amenities and many activities to delight our residents.
The Lodge at Mallard’s Landing is managed by Frontier Management, a highly regarded senior housing provider who strives for excellence in everything we do. Our retirement programs offer superior cuisine, hospitality and lifestyle. We are committed to placing residents' well-being first and we continually set the highest standards for services and care.

Despite our beautiful location, we think the best parts of our community are the details within, which range from the fine finishes of our cottages to the elegant dinners served in our Grand Lodge. How you spend your day at our community is up to you. Whether enjoying our state of the art spa and fitness center, or enjoying a film in our theater, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Accommodations are available in studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and private cottages. All of our units come with the latest amenities, some of which include stainless steel appliances, private patios and high-speed Internet access. For special events or visiting family and friends, a private dining room is available for use.
Available Services
When you want to go shopping or have a doctors appointment, our scheduled transportation service is available. Weekly linen and housekeeping services are provided for all residences, and meal plans for special dietary needs are created by a registered dietitian. Assistance with medication management, personal hygiene, dressing and other daily tasks is available, and all care services are tailored to the individual preference and needs of each resident. Staff members are on-site twenty-four hours a day, so assistance is available at any time.

The Lodge at Mallard's Landing provides additional care options—beyond those listed above— taking into account specific personal needs and requests. Our Wellness Director and team members discuss and identify prospective residents’ needs through a get acquainted and assessment process. This process determines the service plan including the level of care cost.

I visited this facility
I toured The Lodge at Mallard's. They showed us around on the different levels and answered our questions. The rooms they showed us were nice and very comfortable looking. The restrooms were large. The area was large for a studio or a one-bedroom. They talked about the activities and showed us the dining area. What stood out was that the place being very quiet and clean. There's not a lot of people out and about at the time of our visit, but the place was well-kept. The individual that showed us around was very knowledgeable. She gave us a quick brief on the activities and rooms. I like that the hallway areas were very spacious and not narrow.
