Description of Judson Park
Sitting just steps from beautiful Puget Sound, Judson Park in Des Moines is a continuing care community that offers independent living, assisted living, specialized memory care and nursing care. Our residents enjoy peace of mind knowing that whatever life brings their way, we will be here to help them through. During their stay, residents have the opportunity to not only enjoy the numerous amenities of our community, but also take part in a variety of fun and engaging events and activities.
Judson park is managed by American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW), a nonprofit public benefit corporation based in California that has been serving seniors and their families since 1949.

Our community campus is carefully landscaped. A few outdoor features include resident gardening areas and public spaces for socializing and enjoyment of sunny days. Our on-site fitness center is an excellent place for active individuals, while our library is an ideal spot to relax with a favorite book. For residents who enjoy creating new things with their hands, our woodworking shop is the perfect place to take on new projects.
Judson Park features the My Choice dining program, so when meal time rolls around, residents can select from a number of dining spots within the community, which include restaurant-style venues and bistros.
Available Services
As a continuing care retirement community, we provide a number of care options for residents. Assisted living services are available for individuals who require a helping hand with daily tasks, such as dressing, medication management or personal hygiene.
Residents facing the daily challenge of Alzheimer’s or other dementias receive compassionate services and care from highly skilled staff members. For both short-term and long-term nursing needs, we offer a wide variety of skilled nursing options 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I visited this facility
The lunch we had at Judson Park was excellent. The place was clean, inviting, and fancy, but their program didn't work for us. They have a place to have your hair done, meeting areas, and all sorts of organized activities.
