I Visited This Facility
Mallard Landing Assisted Living is a really nice place. The staff members I've met were nice and seemed to care about their people. Dad doesn't participate in their activities. The only one I've ever seen was music one night when I was there. The dining area is nice, but I don't particularly care to have their food because it's expensive for an outsider. The facility has a comfy feeling.
I Am A Current/Past Resident
Never say Never. For years I let everyone know I would never move into an assisted care facility. Well as usual in "never" comments I moved myself into Mallard Landing. This was after two years of researching. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. I chose a studio apartment. Big enough for treasures but not overwhelming. So I have a cosy space that reflects my interest and life. There are many and various activities. I tried to do all of them when I first moved in. Not enough energy, so I pick and choose each. Mallard Landing also provides a bus for special activities. Also every week a trip to the grocery store, bank, etc. I enjoy the spoiling, no dishes, laundry, housekeeping while many friendships. I thoroughly enjoy my lifestyle here with caring staff. I am the important one.

Our location puts residents near the shopping at Battle Ground Village and the cultural offerings of Vancouver, such as the Pearson Air Museum.
Mallard Landing is one of many retirement communities owned by the Senior Lifestyle Corporation. We pride ourselves on creating senior living communities that enable seniors to live healthy and fulfilling lives, and our Wellness Everyday™ program offered at every community is praised by the International Council on Active Aging.
Our spacious one bedroom and studio apartments only need a few personal furnishings to turn them into a home. Homelike touches of kitchenettes, in-suite climate control and private bathrooms are found in each apartment, and safety features include an emergency call system. We provide weekly housekeeping, which keeps everything neat and tidy.
Not only do our residents consider their apartment their home, but our entire community as well. The library and cards room are frequent gathering places, whether for bingo night or book club discussions. The outdoor garden area allows residents to indulge their green thumb, and walking paths encourage a stroll on nice afternoons.
Dining with a view and fresh cuisine prepared from locally sourced ingredients is found in the welcoming community dining room. Our residents enjoy three meals served daily, and snacks are available throughout the day. Family and friends are welcome to join us for a meal, and there is also a private dining room for larger gatherings.
Encouraging independence is our goal at Mallard Landing. All residents receive an individual service plan, created in consultation with the resident, family members and the resident's physician, to ensure our professional service staff deliver the appropriate level of care and services. Services we provide include medication management, assistance with activities of daily living and diabetic management.
