Description of Atlantic Shores
Atlantic Shores is an award-winning retirement community with a full range of services and amenities. The community is set on a pristine 100-acre campus next to Red Wing Lake and 10 minutes away from Virginia Beach’s boardwalk and oceanfront. It has a unique range of social and recreational activities to keep residents mentally active. There are also some excellent amenities available, which include a wellness clinic, fitness center, beauty and barber shop, arts and crafts studio, outdoor picnic and barbecue areas, resident libraries and a woodworking shop. Residents and families give the facility's staff high marks for their caring attitude.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Atlantic Shores takes really good care of my father. The food is excellent, it's an all-around terrific place to live, and he loves it there. He's in memory care, and they go out to various places around town. They do exercises and have a pool. They have fall mats in the rooms which alert the staff if he falls out of bed.
