I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
The absolute WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This organization took complete advantage of our family during their time of need in the midst of the pandemic. Without a Dr\'s approval moved our mom from assisted living (AL) respite care to memory care FOR WALKING HER DOG DURING QUARANTINE! When we were finally able to visit, we found the memory care building to be a completely different environment from AL; dirty carpeting, roaches, old furniture in common areas and the kitchen in disrepair. From Aug\'20- Jan\'21 she was literally in her bed 98% of the time; no activities worth mentioning unless you are a child, no stimulation, or interaction. They are completely understaffed and have had their activities coordinator cook food, and managers act as med techs. I tried reaching out to corporate to literally no avail. This organization is unprofessional from the top to the bottom. There response is that we had multiple conversations about why my mother was placed in memory care, which does not address why she was never reassessed. The fact is that she is currently in AL with Level one care and thriving. Proof that this placement was unnecessary. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE OR ANY OTHER AVENTINE PROPERTY!

As you know, we have had several discussions to address your concerns and are sorry to hear that you continue to be upset about our policy regarding giving notice for moving out. Our communities have worked tirelessly to take care of our residents throughout COVID. Our state surveys confirm that our communities meets or exceeds state and federal standards in all areas, with no violations of state standards. Lest than 10% of communities nation-wide receive surveys without citations. We understand that everyone has the right to post whatever they choose on these reviews. We wish you the best of luck.
