Here at Mackenzie Place, we make sure our residents enjoy everything that Lubbock has to offer. By providing a comfortable, homelike living situation that is safe for seniors, we help our residents enjoy retirement living to its fullest. Our on-site registered nurse provides residents with peace of mind, while our accommodation options allow them to live as independently as possible.

Mackenzie Place is managed by Enlivant, a company that is constantly striving to maintain seniors' sense of dignity and independence. With over 200 assisted living communities in 20 states, Enlivant have developed the expertise required to provide excellent senior living.

Featured Amenities

To promote a social environment, we offer our residents a TV and library room, computer area and open therapy space. Family members and friends can also easily visit their loved ones, as we provide guest accommodations for overnight stays.

As we value each of our residents as individuals, we offer them fully equipped studio and one-bedroom apartments that allow them to retain their sense of independence. The plush surroundings provided by each living arrangement are made safe with grab rails, emergency call systems and convenient features such as walk-in showers.

Available Services

Mackenzie Place is able to help seniors get the most out of everything that Lubbock has to offer by providing group transportation on a regular basis. To guarantee their safety, we provide medication assistance, 24-hour caregiver support and an on-site nurse.

Our residents are encouraged to fully enjoy their living experience through communal restaurant-style dining areas. Three meals are provided on a daily basis, each of which is prepared with the unique nutritional requirements of seniors in mind.

I visited this facility

We visited Mackenzie Place. Everything was closed. They had the COVID lockdown, so everybody was quarantined in their rooms. The dining area wasn't open. The apartment was typical, and it was small. They only showed us one, which was a studio. Their two-room apartments were just two studios with a walkthrough, but it wasn't a true two-bedroom place. The place was clean. It was like a typical nursing home. The doors were locked, and you couldn't get out without buzzing. It was more of a nursing-home feel than an assisted-living feel. You couldn't get in or out of the place without somebody letting you in.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Mackenzie Place is clean, and people seem to be talking and happy. The employees have been there for more than two years and don’t have a big turnover. My mom likes the food and to go to the exercise classes.
