Our independent living community in Fort Worth, Texas, welcomes residents to enjoy the best years of their lives in the comfort of spacious apartments surrounded by great amenities and assisted by friendly staff. The Waterford offers the privacy and freedom to live the way residents choose in comfortable surroundings. At the same time, it offers companionship. Say goodbye to the worries of living alone. Say goodbye to home maintenance and housework. Say hello to a relaxed lifestyle and fun community events such as a bell choir, karaoke nights, lunch and dinner excursions and more. Regardless of which floor plans our residents choose, they will enjoy a perfect balance between safety features and comfortable amenities. Staff members, available 24 hours a day, will take care of any needs residents may have and offer a number of support services depending on the level of care needed. Residents can participate in exercise classes, wellness, walking, and balance classes and have access to a choice of home health agencies. When residents want to explore the surrounding area, our community's convenient location and complimentary bus or car service operates to destinations within 20 miles. Our community features spacious apartments that focus on providing residents with safety and comfort. Residents and their family and friends enjoy the peace of mind that come from emergency call buttons, safety-assist hand railings in bathrooms and smoke alarms with sprinkler systems. Two-inch blinds offer privacy, while wall-to-wall carpet in living rooms offers plenty of comfort. Residents can set the temperature to their liking without the worry of high utility bills, since we take care of everything, including satellite television. Spacious walk-in closets, roomy bathrooms and patios and balconies are also available. Outside of the apartments, residents have plenty to look forward to. Elegantly decorated common areas present the perfect backdrop to make new friends and swap stories. Our activity director fills the monthly calendar with exciting events that appeal to everyone. I visited this facility
I'd been to The Waterford at Fort Worth. It was great. I explained it to my mother and she was excited about being able to do it, but we couldn't afford it. She's on a fixed budget. It was a little bit out of our price range. The lady was really nice. I talked to her several times since then, and she has followed up with me several times. I liked her. The place was really nice and clean. She showed me the apartment that my mom would potentially move into. It was on the first floor like my mother wanted. The staff during the tour was definitely really good. I just had a quick in and out tour, and we wore masks. I can't really explore everything, but I really enjoyed it. There were people out in the living room and talking. It was homey.

I visited this facility
I went to The Waterford at Fort Worth. It's nice, the staff who assisted me was very informative, and she gave me the tour. They still have ongoing activities, of course they follow procedures, wearing a mask, and all that. They have certain arts and crafts, bingo, church services, but limited.

I visited this facility
We went to The Waterford at Fort Worth in person. It was very, very nice. The thing is Mom wants to take her puppy with her. There's so many areas for the pets, but Mom would have to cross a parking lot for her yorkie to go do his job. For somebody who doesn't have a dog, it's awesome, but for somebody who has a dog, it's a little dangerous. They have two different exits to let the dogs out, but both of them are a little bit on the unsafe side for elderly people. Other than that, it is awesome. They invited us for lunch. They have a small convenience store there where they can go and pick up stuff. We met some residents, and they highly recommended this place too. It was wonderful, it wasn't just the right place. Everything was clean. People were so nice and caring. It was really wonderful.

My husband is at The Waterford at Fort Worth. I like it very much. It's a good place. The staff is very good. They have games and entertainment. The food is great and the dining area is very nice. My first impression was very good. It's clean.

I visited this facility
I visited The Waterford at Fort Worth. Everybody there is in a wheelchair and in their 80's, but I'm only 63. I also looked around and saw their exercise rooms, salon, and everything. Everything was fine, but the food wasn't good. I saw a studio room, but it was too small, and their bathrooms were not set up for me.

I visited this facility
The Waterford was nice and clean, but there wasn't a lot of nice furniture, and the place looked old-fashioned, so it didn't appeal to me. The sales people were awesome; they have really great staff. The food tasted like it came out of a can and wasn't that good.
