Our community was designed with social activity in mind, and we offer an exciting calendar of events and activities every day including arts and crafts, cooking classes and daily exercises.

Available Services

While staying at our community, each resident has the opportunity to participate in our exclusive travel program. Through this program, seniors can visit nearly any of our over 300 retirement communities for up to seven nights at no additional charge. During the visit, residents will enjoy all the same service and amenities they enjoy at home while having the chance to meet new friends and experience new places.

We understand that each individual is unique and that needs may change over time. Holiday does not provide any health care services. However, residents are welcome to receive services from any outside home health care provider of their choice to help them continue enjoying life at our community.

Cleaning each week, great. Meal deliveries, 3x a day. Activities, games, crafts if desired. Miscellaneous activities, church on Sundays, laundry of towels, sheets if desired. They just work very hard for us. We are quarantined right now because of a tested person. I don't know who that is. So they're delivering all our meals, they're delivering our mails and snacks. We just stay to ourselves, no one can come in except for medical personnel. And that's what happens, and we had to do it early, early on and it worked out. Hopefully this will all work out, too. This is home. This is home for us. We like our home.

I visited this facility

We did an in-person tour of Arlington Plaza. The rooms were too small for what my friend was looking for, but she likes all the people. She loves that it's a small community. It's just the rooms were too small. The staff was wonderful and very personable.

Arlington Plaza was the only one that we ended up touring and we liked it so much so that we chose it right away. I would give it a very good review so far. My father-in-law just recently moved in, but I would give it a five today. His apartment is very spacious. There is no stove or anything like that because the meals are actually served there. There's three meals a day that are served, so there is no need for an oven or a stove. It has a little kitchenette with a sink and fridge, which is fine for our needs. Theroom we chose is a studio. It's just like a living room/bedroom, a one-room apartment, and a really nice, large bathroom. There is plenty of room for our father-in-law. I would describe the staff as really great, very friendly, and very accommodating. They answer all of our questions and so they're really terrific. The staff members are great. They're very nice. Everything is nice. I think it might need just a little bit of updating in certain places, but I think they're currently working on that, so I would probably five them a four on their facilities. The food seems very good. They have bingo, they have church on Sunday mornings, and they have other activities. Right now I don't think that they're at full capacity because of COVID. I think for what you pay, it's a really great value.

I visited this facility

I was impressed with Arlington Plaza. The staff did everything and answered any questions I had. They were very knowledgeable about the home. The apartment they showed me would be enough to have a two-bedroom, a breakfast area, and a living area. They also have a patio. The layout was real good. It was cozy when you walked in there. It's nice and clean, and it gives you that home away from home feeling, which I'm looking for.

The rooms at Arlington Plaza are nice and spacious. My brother-in-law is in a 1-bedroom apartment. It was clean and nice, and he has his own refrigerator. The people that I've met are really excellent. It's a clean facility, and the food is good. It's pretty much everything you'd want. They have a shuttle bus to do activities off the campus, and they have a game area and a TV area. They play cards and dominos together, and he's happy there. The staff is nice. It's an older building, but it's in a beautiful part of town. I see a lot of people play games and interact with each other. The price is excellent.

My visit at Arlington Plaza was very good. The staff was super and it was an enjoyable visit. They did a good presentation. Unfortunately, they had some negatives that I wasn't ready to have to deal with. The one-bedrooms I looked at were just OK.

I Visited This Facility

Arlington Plaza was a very nice facility. It's two blocks from a huge park on the lake. The apartments were much more private and more geared toward being an apartment than toward being a room. It was one place I wanted my mother to tour. It seemed very pleasant. The people who showed me around were very nice. The residents seemed very happy. It was a very small community and very relaxed. The apartments were on the smaller size and the closet space was more limited.

I visited Arlington Plaza. It seemed nice, but there was nobody to greet us; it’s like a ghost town in there. My first impression is that it was smoky, you can smell smoke, and we had to find somebody to help us. He was really nice and gave us a tour. It also kind of smelled like mildew or something, and you wonder if there’s mold growing there. They have exercise classes, bingo, and I think people come in once a week to do different activities with them. They’ve got something to do everyday of the week. They have a library in the back, and three or four exercise machines.

Arlington Plaza was very good. I didn't care for their parking garages, but the cleanliness was very good. They also have a very nice staff. They went above and beyond. They provide three meals a day, exercise classes, and transportation to certain places. They have events too. If the residents fall, they have a button they can push and that will call 911. Arlington Plaza has everything that the other community has, and it was a very nice place, but my dad liked the other one better.

The amenities at Arlington Plaza are incredible. We're real pleased. They offer two or three different entrees for each meal. They have three meals a day, seven days a week, plus snacks, and hydration stations throughout the facility. The food is really good. It's like you're in a restaurant. Everybody is really friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond. I have maids come in and clean my mom's apartment. The facility is decorated nicely and clean. She seems to be enjoying the activities. The value is good with for the amenities they get.

I love Arlington Plaza. If I were old enough and needed a resthome, that's where I would go because it is a lovely community. It seems to be well-run and the people all seem happy there. If I were in the market, that's where I go to retire. The manager is so delightful and so helpful.

Arlington Plaza was really nice and I liked it, but it was very expensive. We had to park two blocks away because their parking wasn't high enough for our truck and that was the only drawback. The people and porch were very nice. I thought their grounds were very pretty and well kept up. We saw a nice and clean two-bedroom apartment.

Arlington Plaza was not homey enough to me. There were some questions the staff didn't know, but they tried to answer most of them. All of the prices were kind of high, and I was really disappointed.

Arlington Plaza has lush manicured landscaping upon arrival. The parking area seems a bit crowded during the day. It's clean and inviting inside. The rooms and restrooms are suitable for the residents. The staff is friendly and helpful. The residents are vibrant and energetic. There are great attractions nearby that the residents often visit. According to the residents the food is delicious and convenient.

I Visited This Community

This community has a unique and fun lanscaping but the inside needs upgrading. The building is clean but dated. The staff are friendly and excited to help residents and answer questions. This community is very independent and the residents are active and encouraged to take part in activities. They could benefit from a wellness program and additional onsite resources. The community has live-in managers and a overall supportive management team. The dinning room is restaurant style dining and the food is highly respected by the residents.
