Description of NHC Place, Farragut
NHC Place, Farragut provides seniors with assisted living and memory care services, offering as much independence as possible while a compassionate staff assists with tasks of daily living. A trained medical staff that includes a nurse practitioner meets the changing needs of seniors dealing with memory loss in a separate, dedicated wing where residents feel comfortable and safe. Rehab is also offered within the community.
Delicious, healthy meals are cooked to order and served restaurant-style in a lovely dining room that is open throughout the day. Seniors can relax outdoors beneath a beautiful gazebo that overlooks a serene waterfall feature. A number of common areas are on-site for socialization and special events, and there is a full-service spa available.
Residents can take advantage of various activities, such as bingo, games, billiards and golf on the small putting green. Transportation to shops and medical appointments is provided.

We chose NHC Place, Farragut for my mother. We know other people whose mothers are staying there and know quite a bit about it, so we were a lot more comfortable. We knew that she could get the level of care there that she needed. They have quite a few amenities, workshops for people, crafts, and very nice dining facilities where they cook food to order, so you can get a lot of special food. Their dining rooms are open almost all day long. They have nice common areas. It seemed to be a very nice facility. We haven't tried the food, but we hear from other people that it is very good. The staff seem to be very attentive and have a good ratio of staff to residents. They take people shopping and to doctors and they can also provide a very high level of care. They have all the activities she would need. It's not inexpensive by any means but for the level of care she needs, it's very competitive, and the rooms are very nice.
