Description of Brookdale Goodlettsville
Though living with Alzheimer's or dementia is a daily challenge, we at Brookdale Goodlettsville II (formerly Clare Bridge of Goodlettsville) are dedicated to creating Daily Moments of Success for each senior we serve. Through a thorough application of routine, familiarity and mental exercises, our professional staff are specially trained to provide our memory care residents with the best life experience possible.
Brookdale Goodlettsville II is a Brookdale community. Brookdale is one of the nation's largest owners and operators of senior living communities and has been helping seniors achieve a high quality of life since 1978. We are dedicated to providing quality and service excellence throughout our more than 500 communities.
To better serve our residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, our community is specially designed to accommodate those with memory loss. It includes circular paths that lead residents to areas of activity, as well as enclosed courtyards and shadow boxes to hold residents' personal mementos. We also have a beauty parlor/barber shop on site for the convenience of our residents.
To prevent residents from getting lost or wandering, every exterior door is alarmed. Our entire community is equipped with emergency response and state-of-the-art fire safety systems to ensure resident safety. In addition, we have a full-service dining room with helpful wait staff ready to assist our residents, as well as a private dining room for special events.
Our professional staff are onsite 24 hours a day to assist our residents with needs such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, dining, medication support and continence management. Every day, our staff engages residents in activities designed to encourage the preservation of their remaining abilities. We provide laundry and cleaning service as well as ambulation and escort service for those residents who require it.
At Brookdale Goodlettsville II, we understand that residents dealing with Alzheimer's or dementia have unique dietary needs. That is why we offer our residents three nutritious meals a day that are designed to meet those needs. Snacks are also available throughout the day.
Living with Alzheimer's or dementia is a daily challenge, but at Brookdale Goodlettsville II, we provide our residents with a life that is safe, nurturing and balances assistance with independence.
