I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Having my parents in Brookdale Greenville is fine. We've had a few issues, like my father requested to see a doctor, and I have yet to see any record that the doctor stopped by and spoke with him. It was just a couple of minor things like that. The place itself is very clean. He's in the skilled nursing, so his room is pretty much like a hospital room, and it's really small. On the assisted living side my mom's room is a small studio which can fit her bed, a chair, bedside table, TV, and things like that. They have a fair amount of activities, especially in the evenings. There's always something going on in the main room whenever I go and visit. They have a beauty shop and the dining area is set up like a restaurant, so the residents order off a menu. The assisted living side is much nicer than the skilled nursing side. I think the office staff is easy to work with, and they worked well with me when re-filing for Medicaid.
