I am/was a resident of this facility
I'm very satisfied with independent living here at Forest Pines. The staff members are very competent and they do their job. The grounds are fine. They have a dog walking path, and that's where my dog and I do most of our walking. I'm in the smallest room that they have and it's fine. I have everything I need right here. I would recommend them.

I visited this facility
I like the staff and the residents, but not the atmosphere in Forest Pines. It feels too much like walking into a hospital, not a retirement village. The rooms were plainly bedrooms and not apartments. The good thing about them is that you can move from independent living to assisted living if you need to, and you get to stay in one place. I'm very impressed with the staff and would rate them very highly. They also have a lot of activities and amenities. I saw people doing crafts in a room where there were quilts on the walls. I saw a bulletin board with a list of activities on it. The whole place itself was clean.

I Am A Current/Past Resident
Forest Pines is independent living and brand new. They're in the process of renovating it into very nice, large living quarters. There's very good food. I have a one-bedroom with a large bathroom, a small kitchen, and a living area. It's about 500 square feet in total. They also have studio apartments and two-bedrooms. We have very few activities. I am very disappointed in that.
