The people at Garden Valley were nice. The staff member talked to me, she followed up, and she was not too pushy. If I had worked it up with my daughter I would be there. They havr cards and a pool table, and the dining area is nice. It's up on a hill and it overlooks the city. The food was really good. They have an exercise room and they serve three hot meals a day. The rooms were spotless.

Garden Valley is really good. They give you breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they have activities and outings, which they really do good on. My mother is actually very happy there. It's very clean. They shampoo the carpet every six months throughout the whole place. When my mom moved in there, they made sure her room was very clean. They vacuum the floors every week, and they decorate the place in time for holidays and people participate in that. It's really nice and my mom really enjoys it there. The staff is awesome. It's well worth what we're paying.

Garden Valley's rooms were all right, though I did find a bug in the one I looked at. The first thing that turned me off when I walked in was the odor. The whole atmosphere there was different. I wouldn't go there. However, the person who assisted me was very lovely. She was nice to deal with.

Garden Valley and its staff were nice. The big thing that held me back was that it had four stories and only one elevator. They also had set meals times. The one elevator and the regimented times for meals made it a real traffic jam on the elevator because you have people with walkers and wheelchairs, and the elevator wasn't that big. I happened to be there right at lunchtime, so I saw what it was like. The staff was very nice.
