At Evergreen retirement community, our activity calendar is filled with daily activities held on-site or in the local community. Whether it is choir practice, yoga or movie matinees, you will always find something to do. We have spacious lounges, a well-stocked library and a games room where you can join friends to socialize or spend a moment relaxing.
Our community features studio, one-, two-bedroom apartments and even cottage-style homes that you can easily call your own with a few personal touches. The apartments have kitchens and the option of a patio or balcony. In the assisted living and memory care suites, safety features include step-in showers and an emergency response system.
Available Services
On the nights when you want someone else to cook, dine with friends in the community dining room while enjoying chef-prepared fresh, seasonal cuisine. We also take care of the housekeeping and maintenance chores, giving you more free time to pursue your interests. Transportation to personal appointments and group outings is also taken care of by our staff. Both housekeeping and transportation services are covered under each resident's monthly rent, as are most utilities.

I visited this facility
Evergreen Retirement Community was nice but they did not have facilities like a full nursing home. Also it was much further from my house; I wanted something closer that I could run over and visit. They showed me the assisted living and memory care area. The apartments were large and nice. They also showed me the main room, which was nice. The dining area was spacious and nice. They had activities for the residents. Overall, it was very nice but it was too far from our house.

I visited this facility
Everything at Evergreen Retirement Community seems to be very good. The exterior is very impressive and well-maintained. Everything is elite. Inside is very clean too. The people are very nice and polite. They are trying to take care of everyone. I have a friend who lives there, so I go there almost every week and have a meal with her. The food is excellent.

I visited this facility
My husband and I have chosen Evergreen (Evergreen Retirement Community). We liked the fact that they provided some meals. We also liked that they clean the place once a week. They provide transportation to doctors. They have a swimming pool, pool room, tennis court, movie night, and places to play games. The staff provides excellent service. Our room is a two-bed, two-bath, with a washer and dryer, and a kitchen. The place just needs to be updated. We had lunch there and it was good.

I visited this facility
We liked Evergreen Retirement Community the best of the ones we visited. It was warm and friendly, the apartments were a good size, with a good layout, but it was empty, so it was hard to visualize. It was very livable; the bulletin board was posted full of things to do. The dining room was extremely pleasant, and it looked like it was recently upgraded. They showed us a menu, and this was like going to a restaurant. It was one of the oldest facilities in the Cincinnati area.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I had heart surgery and I did some recovery at Evergreen Retirement Community. I was living in the nursing care, and I wasn't real happy with that. They have a very nice, but quite expensive, independent living and assisted living. I was there 11 days or so, then I was able to move out. It was a fine, private room. It had a typical hospital bed. The food was OK, but I need to eat more than three meals, and I ordered as much as I could. The staff quality depended upon who was on duty. Some of them were fine. I had a problem initially getting the medicine when I was moved from the hospital and I was in a lot of pain. They had to go through all the rules of the doctors and all that and it started out on the wrong foot. The therapy was good and I went through it quite quickly. It's a really nice setting and a nice facility.

I visited this facility
Evergreen is a mix of independent and assisted living. The rooms were adequate, the amenities were slightly above average, and the dining area was impressive. The menu was varied, diverse, and good. It was expensive.
