My brother seems to be adjusting fine at Independence Village Of Olde Raleigh. I don't have any complaints, and he doesn't seem to have any. He seems to be staying busy with the activities that they have. The physical appearance is nice. The carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced, but the lady said that they were working on that, and that that was next to be done. Other than that, that's the only thing that I saw that needed to be addressed. It's clean, too. They have exercise and physical therapy. They also have a bingo room, a room for other games, and a place for church services. I love every one of the staff there. They have been fabulous and most helpful. My brother loves the food, and he said it is the best food he has had. They have several activities that he is taking part in, and he loves the bingo, too.

Our visit with Independence Village of Olde Raleigh was good. Everything was great. The staff was good. Everybody was very friendly. It was clean. The room didn't have a kitchen, but had two bedrooms and two baths. It was a nice setup. It's just what my parents need.

Independence Village of Olde Raleigh is very nice and seems to be one of the better facilities. It's very clean and the residents appear happy and well taken care of. Overall, the food was pretty good. The dining room staff has been nice and helpful. My dad is not consistent in joining activities, but he had done Bingo and game night. His room is very nice, with hardwood floors. It's just one room with a full-sized bathroom and a kitchenette. He can have snacks there, so it's a really nice apartment.

So far, Independence Village of Olde Raleigh has been good for my father. Everybody's been very friendly. It's clean, and the layout is fine. He's on the first floor so he has easy access to everything that he needs. There's a barber on site and he just went to them yesterday. He has had some issues with the food. The choices are very limited and not so geared toward a diabetic as he is. He and some other people at that location got ill from some turkey that might have been improperly cooked. The staff has been great and they offer good activities.
