In addition to exploring the many local attractions and amenities Raleigh has to offer, residents of Falls River Village and Court may participate in any number of on-site activities scheduled at our community each day. These activities include movie screenings, concerts, bingo and more.
Accommodations are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. All apartments feature private baths with walk-in showers, kitchenettes and emergency call response systems for added safety and security. All utilities are included except phone and cable.
At Falls River Village and Court, we recognize both the needs of our residents and as well as their desire for independence. Our personalized care plans are designed to provide just the right amount of assistance with medication and other activities of daily living. We offer transportation to appointments and shopping, and have a doctor on site once a week.
In our restaurant-style dining rooms, meals are served three times a day, all made from fresh, seasonal ingredients and designed to offer the best nutrition for seniors. We also have beauty and barber shops on-site to help our residents look their best.

Falls River Village was very quiet, and I liked it for that reason. They only had a very limited selection of rooms. The place was very clean. They showed us one-bedroom and studio apartments. The staff was very polite and friendly.
Falls River Village is very pretty, very nice, and almost like a little resort. The staff was a very friendly, and very sociable. The dining area was very nice. I'm actually very pleased with it.
Falls River was very friendly and very nice. But when they accepted my dad for assisted living, for reasons we could not understand, they reversed their decision and said that he wasn't somebody that they could care for because he is a fall risk. After they decided that, I called and asked if I could speak to the director. I called several times and he would never call me back or give me a reasonable explanation why they couldn't take him. What started off as a very positive experience because extremely negative. The price and the place were great, but they completely shut us out. The community was smaller, but the nurse-to-patient ratio was good. It had a very nice and cozy feel to it. The rooms were small but definitely enough. One of the rooms was very hot but another room was cooler. I guess there was a lot of sunlight in that one room. They had a nice, little, grassy area outside, and people seemed friendly. They said they had a very low employee turnover and people worked there for many years, which was a good sign. My sister came down from Boston to do this tour with me. We were so excited about my dad being able to stay there, so it was very disappointing after accepting him and getting my dad's hopes up that he could go there at an affordable rate, before they completely turned on us. They gave us the assessment and said he could stay there. He doesn't need memory care and is good enough for assisted living, but then they wouldn't even give us an explanation. If it wasn't for that experience, I would definitely have rated them a 5.
I was not very pleased with Falls River. The facility was nice with nice rooms and activities. I had an appointment, but the person in charge wasn't there, and the girl who took us around was the activities director who knew very little about the facility. I never did find out the cost, but she told me that if they had to watch my mother more often, then that was a larger fee. The residents don't have personal call buttons, and I wasn't happy about that.
