Located just outside of Charlotte, Brookdale New Hope (formerly known as Abingdon Place of Gastonia) is a charming assisted living community whose mission is to provide the best service in the industry. Residents here enjoy a comfortable, homelike setting and have access to a variety of fun, regularly-scheduled social events and activities.

Brookdale New Hope is managed by Brookdale. For over three decades, Brookdale has provided exceptional service to seniors who desire independent assisted living in a safe and structured environment.

Featured Amenities

For the ultimate in comfort, residents have a choice between furnished private or companion suites. All apartments include wall-to-wall carpeting, private baths with step-in showers, individually controlled thermostats and kitchenettes with optional microwave, refrigerator and sink.

Our beautiful community areas are great for both relaxing and socializing, and our environment is designed to grant easy access to those with limited mobility. Residents can enjoy the warm North Carolina sun in our outdoor garden areas, or take a nice walk via outdoor walking paths. Our library is chalk full of both large and regular print books and books on tape.

Available Services

Our trained staff is on site at Brookdale New Hope to provide exceptional personalized services to each and every one of our residents. We offer assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, clothing selection, dressing assistance, hygiene, mobility and dining assistance.

Our caregivers take care of housekeeping, laundry and oversee continence management and other services so that residents don't have to worry about a thing.
