Description of Summit Place of Southpark
At Summit Place of Southpark, seniors challenged by Alzheimer's and dementia will be able to take comfort in the professional memory care services we offer. Assisted living is provided by professionally trained staff, and care plans are designed with individual patients in mind. Our unique approach allows us to cater towards every resident's individual needs.
Summit Place of Southpark is managed by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.
Featured Amenities
Our community offers a number of convenient on-site amenities including scheduled transportation to local destinations three times per week. Three meals are served each day in our restaurant-style dining room and specific diets are catered for. Various activities and excursions are also provided by our staff.
Many of our apartments have large windows with a fantastic view. Residences feature private bathrooms with walk-in showers that are also equipped with safety handles. Most utilities are included in the monthly rent as well.
Available Services
Housekeeping services are provided to residents and there are also guest rooms for family members to stay in when visiting. A once-a-week personal laundry service is also available, and pets are welcome to stay with their owners at Summit Place of Southpark.
We have licensed and registered nurses on the staff, monthly wellness clinics and psychotherapy services. For additional safety and security, an emergency pendant is available upon request of the resident or family members.

I visited this facility
Summit Place of South Park's staff is very friendly. The place is a very clean and organized facility. I would highly recommend it. They have both apartments and studios. The outdoor space is nice, the dining hall is very spacious, and they have activities there. It's an excellent place to be.

My mother moved into Summit Place of South Park. Great value, great staff, bright, and open layout, and lots to do. They provide exercise, outings, games, and parties. They had amenities and good home-cooked food. The apartment is small but clean. The bathroom is great, very large, and handicap accessible.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My sister has only lived at Summit Place of South Park for a week. They said I'd get a schedule of the activities and the menu, but I never did get anything. I don't like anything about the place. Anytime you ask a person a question, they don't know the answer. I have only seen a CNA one time all the times that I was there. My sister's clothes were always disappearing, and the week before I picked her up, she only had one outfit. They charge for anything and make you use your own linens. There are so many things wrong with the place, it's unreal. I never see anybody there and my sister's stuff was never in her room; other people's stuff was in her closet. She said the food wasn't very good and said that she wished she was out of there. She also said there was no one to talk to and nothing to do. Their price is outrageously high.
