I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Mom has been at Jordan Oaks for almost two months now. The residents are very friendly, and it is a very nice community. I am very happy that Caring.com helped us find it. I look forward to Mom living there for quite a while. She is very happy with the food. The staff is very good and responsive. The place is very clean, very open, and bright. Mom is more involved in activities than she was in the previous place.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother-in-law has been in Jordan Oaks for two months now. My wife and I like it. It's a really great place, it's cheerful, and there are a lot of activities. It's not dreary. It's just a very nice place to be. I couldn't ask for a better place. They're very attentive. The place is clean. She gets physical therapy from the on-staff facility that's there. She's doing very well. It's not a depressing place like some places could be. The staff has always been attentive and pleasant. My wife is there a lot and she says the people seem to be happy, but some people are unhappy being there. My mother-in-law is happy and my wife is happy with the care she is getting, the food and the facility. What's also important is that they meet with the residents once a month to see if there's any way they could improve things for them. They take into account the residents' wants. They are friendly and helpful. They have a menu selection, and from what I've seen, it looks really good. She hasn't complained about it. The place looks professional. There are a lot of different rooms there that people could go into and do what they want. It reminds me of a resort. They have a full calendar of activities. Every day there's a bunch of activities in the afternoon and the evening. They also take the residents to go shopping if they want. They plan a whole month out in advance of all the things that the residents do every day. You could pick a day and see when Bingo is going to be next, when they're going to have cards or movie nights or when a movie is going to be playing.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I am staying at Jordan Oaks. They are friendly. The room is actually kind of spacious for a studio and a handicap room. I am able to access the shower and everything. The staff is really helpful and friendly. They have a chef that prepares meals and they have good variety.

Jordan Oaks was great. They had an exercise room but didn't have a pool. It was very nice. The residents seemed happy.

I visited this facility

Our visit with Jordan Oaks was very nice. We enjoyed it. The surroundings impressed us. The grounds were beautiful and there were walking areas that were very pleasant. They had apartments that were very roomy and adequate. We had a meal with them and it was their main meal of the day and it was delicious. They were a little shy with the space for exercise. We only saw two pieces of equipment, and that was a little lacking. The staff was very nice and very friendly.

I visited this facility

We had a very good experience with Jordan Oaks. They were very informative. The staff was very friendly and showed us everything. The atmosphere was great. That's where my parents want to go and they liked it from everything they saw. The dining area was nice and we talked to some of the residents and they said the food was good. We liked both of the places we've gone in, but the only reason we chose this one was because it's closer to me.

I visited this facility

I visited Jordan Oaks a year ago. I personally did not like it for my parents. I have noticed that there was an odor when I was there. The physical appearance was OK, and the staff was very good. We stayed for a meal, but we didn't enjoy it. The dining setup was also OK, there's just un-met requirements.

My overall impression of Jordan Oaks was good. It had a lot going for it and it's one of the places we're considering for my grandfather. The rooms and the amenities were good. Everybody I spoke to seemed happy there. We didn't try the food, but we saw the dining area, and it was nice. The cleanliness was good. The staff was very nice. I really have nothing negative to say about it. It was a good place.

I visited this facility

I toured Jordan Oaks. The paint was very dark, the colors weren't bright, and it was depressing. The size of the rooms is doable. We saw a small gym with two pieces of equipment. The dining area was very nice, and the staff was friendly.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My mother-in-law has been in Jordan Oaks for 10 years. The staff is very professional. There are plenty of activities if they want to participate. Her room is very nice, very clean, and very simple. She likes it. There’s good food and good food service. Everything is well-rounded and offers a little bit of everything. I’ve eaten there a couple of times. We’re satisfied with it, and they’re offering a lot of services that help us out, so it’s very good.

I visited this facility

I liked the facilities at Jordan Oaks, but I just wasn't really impressed with them. When I went in, I met the lady who was going to show me around and she gave me a 10-minute tour. She sat me down with one of the residents who was a very nice lady, but she was telling me about the problems that they had there. The lady who showed me around was nice, but didn't do much of a tour. They had some apartments that looked nice and kind of opened out into a grassy area. The general cafeteria was huge, but crowded. Everybody seemed really nice though. There wasn't an awful lot in the exercise room and it was not as well-equipped as the other places. There was a beautician that came in as well. It was an older place, but it was beautiful, and it had nice amenities and decorations.

I visited this facility

My visit to Jordan Oaks was a good experience, but it doesn't have what we need. It seemed okay, the rooms were small, and they offer 2 meals a day. They had a gym, swimming pool, library, and computer room. The staff seemed okay.
